Hey everybody, it's me doc normal and I'm back!
Tonight, we resume Crazy Talk for the New Year. Special Skype guest is David VanSunder of VanSunder.com. I'm also joined by Rick Turoczy of Silicon Florist and Cami Kaos of Strange Love Live as we discuss predictions for the future of podcasting and video on the web.
I'll be back next week. Stay tuned!
Saturday Fun - Will Radik in Cheese Story (NSFW)
When we took a vacation for the holiday to the Oregon Coast, cheese was on the mind as we were driving back home (one town in particular, is know for it's dairy/cheese industry). So...
I mashed up a Will Radik video podcast post with some documentary footage from archive.org and the home movie I shot on the trip.
Warning: NSFW - Explicit Language - (Some F-bombs)!

Friday (No) SLL - So what have we been doing since NaPodPoMo 2008?
There was no Strange Love Live this week, due to the Holiday (and our need to take a break/vacation). I wanted to post some sort of update since last year's NaPodPoMo to cover how SLL has evolved since last year and our move from being an exclusively audio podcast, to the live streaming video show. There's no better way to do this, than to use the video presentation which was put together for our Wordcamp Portland talk.

When CamiKaos & DrNormal Talk…
Yesterday we gave a talk on Podcasting at WordCamp Portland. We thought it might be a good idea to do what we know so we (and by we I mean he) compiled a video to show the evolution of Strange Love Live in the last two years. It played at the beginning of our talk, before we started babbling. Enjoy!
This video was part of the presentation "Bondage: How to be your Podcasts Dom, not its Sub" at Word Camp Portland.
And here's a special, special bonus: and interview with Matt Mullenweg at Wordcamp Portland!

Ignite Portland 7 - Turkey Tracker
In addition to all the daily Crazy Talk's and memePDX and Strange Love Live, I ended up live streaming Portland's Ignite 7 event on Thursday. One particularly relevant talk was Michael Weinberg's "Thanksgiving 2.0" which covers the history of a very cool website for Thanksgiving, Turkey Tracker. You should still have time to participate on the site.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
